Description
Ballistic Digital is seeking a Network/Cyber Engineer to support a sensitive USG program in Williamsburg Virginia. Network engineering responsibilities will be the primary focus of this role over cyber security engineering responsibilities (75%/25%); however, this may vary based on requirements and ongoing projects.
Clearance Requirement: Must possess a current and active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph clearance for consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining, improving, cleaning, and manipulating of data in operational and analytics databases.
- Working with software engineers, data analytics teams, data scientists, and data warehouse engineers in order to understand and aid in the implementation of database requirements, analyzing performance, and troubleshooting any existing issues
- Defining and building the data pipelines that will enable data visibility and improve data- informed decision making
- Using Al tools to aggregate, search, and compile data from a wide variety of sources
- Designing, setting up, and operating technical demonstrations
- Developing novel solutions incorporating multiple technologies
- Enacting ad-hoc technical experiments to test tradecraft concepts
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant technical field - Three (3) years of relevant technical experience will be accepted as an equivalent for a Bachelor's degree.
- Two (2) years' demonstrated expertise including SQL/NoSQL development, operating systems, API development, and Docker.
